Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) Medication administration per physician orders Physician ordered treatments for: Nutrition via a feeding tube Tracheostomy care Suctioning—nasal, oral and/or endotracheal Ventilation care Seizure assessment and treatment Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) Current, active Florida LPN license Current BLS CPR card (obtained in‑person, not online) G‑tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF) Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed) 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website) About Care Options for Kids Care Options for Kids is the leading provider of pediatric nursing services.
