Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer/Architect

Location: Chicago, IL (Local Candidates Only) Hybrid.

Required Skills:

5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

Strong experience with Azure API Management (APIM) including XML policies, versioning, developer portal, and backend integrations.

Experience building event-driven architectures using Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus.

Strong knowledge of Python and Node.js development.

Experience with Cosmos DB and other NoSQL databases.

Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and/or GitHub Actions for CI/CD.

Experience with Azure Key Vault , OAuth2/JWT authentication, and secure API development.

Knowledge of KQL , Log Analytics, monitoring, and operational dashboards.

Experience integrating with third-party APIs and ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira or similar).

Good understanding of Azure networking, Private Endpoints, VNets, NSGs, and Zero Trust architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure Security Engineer Associate

AWS Certified Security Specialty

CISSP or CCSP
