Job Summary Sets up, programs, and operates a CAD digital machine per job traveler specifications. May also assist with weeding, cutting, and other finishing-area tasks. Essential Functions Operate CAD machine to produce custom shape/cut vinyl products Understand job traveler, machine set-up, and i-cut software Proof new art from prepress Locate, use, and update CAD files Produce basic CAD “cut-only” jobs on pigmented vinyl Proofread, verify, and produce Micro-Cut orders Examine products for quality; adjust as needed Remove finished/pre-finished material from cutter for next operation Follow all safety rules and regulations Maintain housekeeping standards Assist in other finishing operations as needed Remove excess vinyl while other graphics are cutting Produce consistent quality graphics Competencies Basic computer knowledge Problem-solving skills General knowledge of finishing Some mechanical aptitude Meets deadlines; dependable and reliable Basic troubleshooting skills Works effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Flexible to respond to changing requirements with tight deadlines Work Environment Heated/cooled production atmosphere Cement floor; anti-fatigue mats provided Clean working environment Physical Demands Able to stand for entire work period (including overtime as needed) Occasional walking, changing position, reaching (including across midline), handling, fingering, feeling, grasping Occasional lifting 20–50 lbs; frequent lifting 10–25 lbs Expected Hours of Work Full-time; Monday–Friday.
