Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Job Overview Join a skilled nursing and short-term rehab facility in Kettering, OH as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist. Use your clinical skills to evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders for a diverse adult population. Responsibilities Provide high-quality SLP services in a skilled nursing and short-term rehab setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support functional recovery, discharge planning, and safe swallowing outcomes for patients with complex needs. Minimum Requirements Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Active Ohio state SLP license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation settings preferred. Experience with dysphagia management, cognitive-communication assessment, and adult neurogenic disorders preferred. Preferred Qualifications Previous travel or per diem experience in long-term care or SNF environments. Familiarity with electronic medical records used in post-acute care. Strong documentation and interdisciplinary communication skills. Assignment Details Schedule: 5 days with flexible scheduling regarding days of the week.
