Perks and Benefits Earn up to 1% wage increase every quarter 401K Retirement Plan with Safe Harbor matching contribution Length of Service Bonus Program of up to $5,000 Employee Referral Bonus of up to $1,000 Access to earned wages prior to payday Generous PTO Plan Career Development An employee engaged scheduling system Affordable Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Benefits Sinceri Senior Living Discount Marketplace Walking Spree rewards for healthy habits Oh, and did we mention an amazing Team Environment? *Some benefits may vary depending on position and employment status Minimum Eligibility Requirements Licensed Nurse preferred (LPN, LVN, or RN) Knowledge and experience processing in Scheduling databases Working Knowledge of computers, including Excel, Word, and MS Office Knowledge of nursing specialties, opportunities, and qualifications Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees’ needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing/scheduling requirements are met for the facility Ability to represent the facility in a positive and professional manner Must be able to work effectively in an individual or team setting Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation Essential Functions Makes Caregiver shift assignments and ensures that assigned duties are completed in a satisfactory manner Monitors performance of caregivers for compliance with established policies and procedures, and to ensure quality resident care Manages shift coverage when staff members call in sick for the oncoming shift Participates in Caregiver orientation and training Responsible for scheduling and other staffing duties, as requested Conducts building tours when requested Communicates with family members, physicians, and other outside healthcare providers, such as hospice, wound care, PT, OT, Pharmacy, etc. Exercises independent discretion in responding to resident emergencies, determining the need for and contacting emergency services, and/or physician and family, as appropriate Documents observations, concerns, changes in resident conditions, incidents, and/or accidents, and ensures that follow-up documentation occurs until the issue is resolved Reports observations, concerns, and changes in resident condition to Health Services Director (HSD) or Administrator Communicates resident needs and concerns to family members and physicians Records and implements physician orders, following appropriate procedures for fax and telephone orders Ensures that information and interventions recorded on resident service plans are implemented by Caregivers Will take the lead on first aid response, safety, and disaster situations while on duty Participates in the narcotic count Sets up, dispenses, and documents all resident medications Responsible for maintaining an orderly medication cart, medication room, and accurate medication administration records Monitors the daily care of all residents Staffing / Scheduling Establishes staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants Works with human resources to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees Assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required Works with the health services supervisor to schedule training classes Equal Employment Opportunity Sinceri Senior living is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
