About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) in Telemetry provides patient care by assessing and diagnosing conditions, developing care plans, and evaluating patient responses. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in a collaborative environment and are committed to patient education and safety. Highlights Location: New York, NY Schedule: Part-time, Night shift What You’ll Do Develop and evaluate plan of care. Systematically assess patient's knowledge base and health through interviews and examinations. Consult with multidisciplinary health care team regarding nursing assessment findings. Create individualized plan of care based on patient problems and input from the care team. Communicate changes in patient status to appropriate care team members. Collaborate with team members to adjust the plan of care as necessary. Provide and delegate patient care according to established protocols. Conduct clinical rounds, provide emergency care, and administer medications. Document patient care on appropriate forms and maintain accurate records. Identify patients' learning needs and develop teaching plans. Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: Must be enrolled in an accredited program within 24 months of employment and obtain a BSN within five years of employment. Licenses & Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State; BCLS, ACLS or PALS required.
