Position Overview We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance our growing team of imaging experts. You will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct vital diagnostic examinations, fostering collaboration with a compassionate group of healthcare professionals-all while bringing reassurance and clarity to diverse patients. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Invest in patient comfort and safety by providing clear instructions and supportive explanations
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, addressing any issues quickly
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic system
- Adopt the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and protocols
- A degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion preferred
- Current ARDMS certification or equivalent
- BLS certification preferred
- Expertise in sonographic techniques and effective patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
