Senior Infrastructure Architect

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We expect formal training or certification in infrastructure architecture concepts, along with 5+ years of relevant applied experience.
• We need hands-on experience delivering cloud platforms, including application deployment, infrastructure configuration, and operational support.
• We require strong knowledge of infrastructure architecture principles, including networking, identity and access management, and environment governance.
• We expect proficiency in one or more programming languages and experience building automation scripts and platform tooling.
• We look for the ability to assess current infrastructure and recommend future-state designs aligned with resiliency and security expectations.
• We need the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into infrastructure design, with clear feedback to leadership.
• We value demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in engineering workflows, with strong validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity.
• We require the ability to evaluate AI-assisted infrastructure recommendations before adoption and to escalate uncertainty where needed.
• We need strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex technical ideas to engineering and non-technical audiences.
• We expect experience working directly with internal or external customers in a technical advisory or support capacity.
• We look for practical cloud-native experience across modern platform delivery environments.
• Preferred: experience working at code level on platform or infrastructure tooling, including cloud landing zone and boundary constructs.
• Preferred: familiarity with agentic AI tooling and its use in platform operations and engineering productivity.
• Preferred: background in developer experience, technical enablement, or platform advocacy roles.
• Preferred: experience creating technical documentation programs or delivering engineering training at scale.
• Preferred: experience with cloud landing zone and boundary constructs across enterprise-scale environments.

• We partner with engineering teams across lines of business to guide end-to-end cloud platform adoption, including boundary creation, migration workflows, and onboarding.
• We apply deep infrastructure architecture expertise and problem-solving methods to moderate-to-high complexity initiatives, delivering strong and practical design outcomes.
• We contribute to multi-year adoption roadmaps by surfacing customer needs, blockers, and recurring patterns to product and architecture teams.
• We build and maintain enablement tooling such as automation scripts, guided workflows, and self-service capabilities to reduce manual effort and scale support.
• We develop and keep platform documentation and training materials accurate, clear, and aligned with the current product state.
• We apply enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate enablement work, including documentation, tooling development, and customer support, with appropriate validation and data handling.
• We identify recurring customer friction points and convert them into actionable product feedback and engineering improvement requests.
• We evaluate recommendations for new infrastructure architecture technologies and provide structured feedback to leaders and product teams.
• We support the design and delivery of training programs for platform adopters so engineering teams can onboard and operate effectively.
