Procurement Manager(f/m/d) – MEININGER HotelsBerlin Headquarters – Full time MEININGER Hotels is looking for a Procurement Manager (f/m/d) who will serve as the primary contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders in purchasing activities for defined categories. Responsibilities Obtain competitive quotations and run tenders according to company requirements and policies. Negotiate with suppliers to establish purchase contracts, ensuring that terms are favorable and purchases offer the best value for money. Ensure that goods and services are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, service, and price, and take action to address any issues with non‑performing suppliers. Communicate with all related internal and external parties regularly to ensure strong support for the agreed schedule and quality. Significantly support the implementation of a new purchasing system. Maintain comprehensive records of all procurement activities in compliance with policies and procedures, and provide analyses and reports to the Head of Procurement. Ensure that the documentation related to purchases is maintained and filed according to current policies and procedures. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or in hotel management. Ability to develop purchasing strategies and review procurement contracts/ frame agreements. Business fluency in English and German (B2+ or C1). Proactive, hands‑on mindset. Strong negotiating and communication skills, including the ability to develop negotiation strategies for complex activities.
