Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients to understand their mental health needs and develop effective treatment goals tailored to individual circumstances. Provide therapeutic support through individual, family, and couples counseling, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities appropriate to each client’s unique situation. Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal mental health outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring client confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with team members through regular case consultations, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to client care. Patient Population / Client Focus This role requires a heart for service, as you will be working with a diverse range of clients experiencing varying challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Our clients include individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds, and your ability to understand and respect their unique experiences will be critical to fostering trust and effective therapeutic alliances. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. A valid Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) licensure in Vermont is mandatory for this position. Demonstrated experience (minimum of 2 years) in providing mental health counseling services to a wide variety of clients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Preferred Experience Experience with various therapeutic modalities and approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Previous experience in a telehealth setting is preferred, although not required. Ability to integrate holistic and integrative practices into counseling sessions is highly desired. Compensation and Benefits In recognition of your skills and contributions, the compensation for this full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor position ranges from USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually.
