Human Resources Generalist OhioHigh Bar Brands is looking for a skilled and experienced On-Site Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Dayton, Ohio and support our Canfield, Ohio location. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being hands-on, building relationships with employees and leaders, and supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment.As an HR Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted resource for employees and management while supporting day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, recruiting, compliance, training, and leave administration. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working independently while partnering closely with leadership.Essential Functions / Responsibilities:Recruiting & Onboarding: Manage the recruitment process for Ohio-based positions from requisition through orientation and onboarding.Employee Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, workplace concerns, investigations, conflict resolution, and management guidance.HR Compliance: Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.Leave Administration: Provide compliant oversight and administration of FMLA and other applicable state and federal leave programs, including disability-related programs as appropriate.Training & Development: Support employee and management training, coaching, and organizational development initiatives.HR Support: Partner with employees and managers to answer questions, resolve concerns, and promote a positive and productive workplace.HRIS & Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential employee information and utilize HRIS systems to support HR processes.Required Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Generalist role.Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, training, compensation, benefits, and HR compliance.Experience recruiting for a variety of positions, including management-level roles.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to build positive relationships with employees and leaders at all levels.Must be fluent in SpanishManufacturing experience preferred.Preferred Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Equivalent relevant HR experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Work Environment and Physical Requirements:This is an on-site HR role supporting our manufacturing operations.Commuting to support the Canfield location when needed.Available for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts as needed.Spend extended periods working at a desk and using a computer.Navigate and interact with employees and leaders throughout the facility.Disclaimer: High Bar Brands is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values diversity of individuals, ideas, perspectives, and experiences.
