Behavior Tech / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Job Type: Part-Time Job Summary Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the BT/RBT will implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve social, communication, adaptive, and behavioral skills. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of clients and their families. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans as developed by the supervising BCBA. Provide direct one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to assigned clients. Collect and record accurate data on client progress and treatment outcomes. Assist clients in developing communication, social, self-help, and daily living skills. Utilize positive reinforcement strategies to encourage desired behaviors. Maintain consistent communication with supervisors regarding client progress and concerns. Participate in required supervision sessions, team meetings, and trainings. Follow company policies and procedures related to client confidentiality, safety, and compliance. Maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner. High School Diploma or GED required. Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while following established treatment protocols. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes, schools, or community settings as needed. Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Must meet all Maxim Healthcare Services and state-specific screening requirements. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience providing ABA therapy. Experience with data collection and behavior management techniques. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout a therapy session. Ability to lift and/or assist clients as needed in accordance with safety guidelines.
