Community Relations Database AnalystThe Community Relations Database Analyst manages information that supports the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum's strategic community partnerships and works collaboratively with Museum staff to document and organize the Museum's comprehensive network of partnerships with community organizations in the interest of maintaining long-term, sustainable partnerships throughout the Greater Boston area. This is a temporary, full-time position expected to continue for approximately one year, focused on developing and implementing systems that strengthen the Museum's long-term community engagement efforts.A priority for this role is documenting relationships that align with the Museum's strategic goals. The Community Relations Database Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing an internal system for documenting relationships between internal and external partnerships in the critical work of outreach, community partnership, and audience development. The Database Analyst is also responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of records within Tessitura, the institution's customer relationship management software (CRM), and shared responsibility for relationships across the institution.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain data standards and quality control practices to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and usability of community partnership information within Tessitura; development, maintenance, and optimization of the community partnership database.Produce and update a wide variety of department reports essential in managing and developing strategic initiatives, informing key relationship stakeholders across departments with the goal of cross-departmental information sharing and key partner relationship development.Deliver database-related projects; such projects may include updating training manual, department training, screening the database regularly for duplicate records, address updating, entry of new contact or biographical information, cleanup of inconsistent or deficient information in various database fields, and other similar projects that serve to improve the information in the database.Work cross-departmentally to identify and maximize the information utilized by all departments related to the Museum's work with community partners.Assist with administrative tasks, internal work orders, scheduling to include usage of Artifax event and resource management software, and other administrative documentation.Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Public Programs.RequirementsRequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent3+ years experience in data management, arts, culture or non-profit administrationExperience with customer relationship management software (CRM) databases; Tessitura experience requiredDemonstrated capability with Excel and/or Google WorkspaceAccuracy, attention to detail, and ability to follow process are essentialExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; ability to create effective proposals and presentationsGood judgment and ability to be discreet and handle confidential informationCollaborative work style; ability to work effectively with both internal and external audiencesAbility to manage multiple projects and work in a high-demand environmentEagerness to learn, with capability to effectively collaborate and work as part of a teamDemonstrated ability to work effectively and respectfully with colleagues, community partners, and audiences from a wide range of backgrounds and lived experiencesLegal authorization to work in the United StatesDesirableExperience with or willingness to learn SQLStrong understanding of Greater Boston and its diverse arts and culture landscapePrior museum experience a plusEqual Opportunity EmployerThe Museum is committed to affording equal opportunity to qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, age (40 or older), disability, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, genetic information, pregnancy, childbirth or related conditions, ancestry, or status as a veteran.
