About The Role Synthesize pertinent information from a patient’s referral, medical records, imaging, intake forms, and subjective history taking. Diagnose movement dysfunction via functional movement, posture and gait analysis, internal pelvic floor examinations, objective measurements and listening to patients’ concerns and goals. Use critical thinking to develop individualized plans of care that include the patient’s goals and expected outcomes. Utilize evidence‑based interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re‑education, biofeedback and other modalities to achieve patients’ goals. Evaluate and document patient progress, using outcomes to drive results and modifying the plan of care as needed. Educate patients about what to expect from the recovery process and how to cope with challenges throughout. Follow up with patients to ensure better adherence to the plan of care. Connect with providers and local organizations to increase awareness of therapies provided by the clinic and ensure that as many patients as possible receive care. Provide clinical instruction of at least one student rotation per year after the first year of treatment in your specialty area. Other tasks as assigned. What You’ll Achieve Serve as many patients as possible who need care with high‑quality physical therapy at Origin. Facilitate care that creates meaningful outcomes, in partnership or mentorship with other PTs and/or providers as necessary. About You Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California (new grads welcome to apply). Interest in women’s health and pelvic floor physical therapy.
