• You will serve as the Assistant Program Manager for Life Cycle Logistics, providing expert leadership, strategic direction, and technical guidance to program managers, senior leaders, and logistics professionals across the organization.
• You will develop, implement, and manage lifecycle logistics strategies, product support initiatives, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans to improve program effectiveness, readiness, and sustainment outcomes.
• You will lead and advise cross-functional teams in business management, contracting, engineering, financial management, and logistics to support acquisition programs and major milestone decisions.
• You will establish workforce standards, oversee recruitment and professional development programs, and ensure the training and education of the Life Cycle Logistics workforce.
• You will provide expertise in Technical Data Management, Naval Logistics Integration, Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations, supportability analysis, and product support planning to ensure successful program execution.
• You will supervise and evaluate employees, set priorities and performance expectations, resolve personnel issues, and foster a productive, mission-focused work environment while supporting organizational improvement initiatives.

• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrated expertise in Technical Data Management (TDM), Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations (EABO), and Naval Logistics Integration (NLI), along with demonstrated experience leading lifecycle logistics programs, developing strategic logistics initiatives, and managing complex organizational operations. Leadership, communication, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning skills, with the ability to advise senior leadership, supervise personnel, and drive workforce development and mission success.
