Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Travel at Program: RightSourcing Program - OU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - OU Health.

Additional Details:

If a BSN degree is the highest level of education, verify the graduation date and upload a copy of your diploma to your credentials.

Required Skills/Experience: Strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or willingness to work with difficult cases. Will not accept OR candidates. Stepdown/PCU experience is required. - Must have acute care surgical floor experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: ENT and/or transplant experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred.

Unit Details: Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center. Cares for inpatients receiving pre- or post-surgical services. Travelers will care for post-operative patients with new drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, NGT, or DHT. Some patients may be step-down level care.

Floating Requirements: Travelers will be first to float.
