This position calls for an experienced professional holding both state licensure and the prestigious LSLS Cert. AVT (Listening and Spoken Language Specialist - Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist) credential. Work closely with students, families, and school staff to assess ongoing needs and deliver targeted AVT interventions.


Qualifications:

• Active LSLS Cert. AVT credential is required
• Licensed as an SLP, Audiologist, or Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) in your state
• Proven experience in providing AVT assessments and therapy in educational settings
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to determine students' need for Auditory-Verbal Therapy
• Deliver monthly onsite AVT services (1x a month, 60-minute session) per student need
• Document session outcomes and recommendations to support student progress
• Collaborate with school teams, educators, and families to ensure cohesive support plans
• Maintain compliance with state and national certification standards
