Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Multiple Openings)

Location: Jupiter, FL — In-Office Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizenship is Strictly Required. (No sponsorship or green card eligibility available due to defense and aerospace regulations). Position Overview Parametric Solutions Inc. (PSI) is seeking a Senior Aerospace Design Engineer to join our team in Jupiter, FL. In this role, you will design, analyze, and test complex components for military, commercial, and industrial gas turbine engines. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will not only drive technical execution but also interface directly with customers and mentor junior engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Lead Design Execution: Create, analyze, and review complex design sketches, layouts, schematics, 3D models, and manufacturing drawings. Conduct Rigorous Analysis: Develop hand calculations and finite element models (FEA) to determine temperatures, stresses, deflections, flows, and pressures. Manage Project Metrics: Interface closely with customers to define objectives, ensuring all deliverables perform to strict schedule and budget requirements. Mentor Talent: Teach, oversee, and collaborate with less experienced engineers to foster technical growth and team cohesion. Material & Spec Selection: Select raw materials and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware, defining exact specifications for aerospace products. Requirements (Education & Experience) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering . Experience: 5+ years of experience in an engineering services environment or a closely related aerospace field. Software Proficiency: 5+ years of hands-on experience using core engineering software (such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, Fluent, CFX, NX, Catia, or SolidWorks ). Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.
