Position Title: CNC Mill Machinist / Programmer / OperatorWage: $28.00 - $38.00/hourShift: 1stHours: 7:00am - 3:30pmWe are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist / Programmer / Operator for a well-established precision manufacturing operation in Lake Villa, IL.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC professional who enjoys taking a project from blueprint to finished part and has strong hands-on experience programming, setting up, and operating HAAS CNC mills using MastercamCNC Mill Machinist / Programmer / Operator Responsibilities:- Program, set up, and operate HAAS CNC milling machines- Create, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs using Mastercam- Take jobs from blueprint through completed part- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, feeds, and workholding- Perform machine setups and make necessary offsets and program adjustments- Complete first-piece, in-process, and final inspections- Use micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipment- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and programming issues- Produce prototype and production parts while maintaining tight tolerances- Identify opportunities to improve cycle times, quality, and machining processes- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment- Work closely with engineering and production personnel to meet customer requirements and deadlinesRequirements for CNC Mill Machinist / Programmer / Operator:- Minimum 5 years of CNC milling and programming experience- Strong experience programming with Mastercam- Hands-on experience setting up and operating HAAS CNC mills- Strong knowledge of G-Code- Ability to independently program, set up, and run parts from blueprint to completion- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T- Proficient with micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and other inspection equipment- Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, speeds, feeds, and workholding- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or machining education is a plus- Machining aluminum, stainless steel, tool steel, and plastics preferred- Multi-axis CNC machining is a plus- Prototype and short-run production is a plus- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement preferredWhat We Offer:- Health insurance- Paid Time Off (PTO)- Employee discounts- Tuition reimbursement- Stable, full-time employment- Modern equipment and clean shop environment- Opportunities for professional growthPlease be prepared for our AI recruiter to ask these mandatory questions:- How many years of CNC milling experience do you have?- How many years of experience do you have programming CNC mills with Mastercam?- How many years of experience do you have setting up and operating HAAS CNC mills?- Can you independently take a job from blueprint to finished part, including programming, setup, tooling, machining, and inspection?- What types of materials and tolerances have you worked with?- Are you comfortable working Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM in Lake Villa, IL?IND999QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
