Registered Nurse, 4 East, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Per Diem

Schedule Details: Holidays – One Major Summer Holiday, One Major Winter Holiday Scheduled Hours: A mix of 4, 8, 12‑hour shifts depending on unit needs. Shift: 4 – Mixed Shift, 12 Hours (United States of America) Hours: 0 Cost Center: 10020 – 0200 Nurs 4Th Floor East This position may have a signing bonus available. A member of the Recruitment Team will confirm eligibility during the interview process. Responsible for the planning, delivery and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice. Major Responsibilities Utilize the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient’s care from admission to discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population. Perform patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure. Develop and coordinate individual plan of care including discharge planning. Direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate nursing care within assigned clinical setting. Delegate appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level. Position Qualifications License/Certification/Education: Required Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration. BLS required for all RNs unless advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) is current, plus any unit‑specific certifications and competencies. Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred. Experience/Skills: Required Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
