ARMStaffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, flexible Employment Type: Travel CT Technologist - On Call - 13 Week Contract Schedule Friday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. On-call requirements include 2-3 call shifts per month and holiday availability. Job Description The CT Technologist is responsible for providing diagnostic imaging services by performing CT scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role involves coordinating with physicians and preparing patients for imaging procedures. Responsibilities Verify patient identity and confirm exams prior to initiating scans. Explain imaging procedures to patients and prepare them for scans. Administer IVs as necessary for tests. Position patients safely, taking into account their mobility limitations. Maintain accurate records and documentation within the EPIC system. Ensure images are properly identified and transmitted to the PACS system post-exam. Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure New York State licensure for CT Technologists must be obtained prior to starting the position. Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Two (2) years of experience, with Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred. BLS certification from the American Heart Association required. Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred. Telemetry experience required.
