WhatYouWillDo: Refineinternalcontrolframeworks,ensuringappropriatesegregationofduties,invoiceapprovalworkflows,andaccurateaccumulationoffinancialdata. Overseebudgeting,forecasting,andreportingwhilepartneringwithoperationstoensureaccuracyacrossWIPschedules,regionalprojections,andprojectmilestones Ensurebalancesheetaccountsareproperlyanalyzedeachmonthandthattimelycorrectiveactionistakenwhenrequired. EstablishandmaintainA/Rqualitystandards,focusingonpromptcollections,zerodelinquentreceivables,andminimalunbilledcosts. Drivetimely,accuratetimereportingtosupportpreciseprojectforecasting,payrollprocessing,andlaborburdenallocations. Conductfinancialduediligencetoproactivelyidentify,report,andmitigateoperationalrisks Translateorganizationalstrategy,ensuringteammembersunderstandtheirroleinachievingbroadercompanygoals. Manageworkindependentlywhilesupportingthecareerdevelopmentandcoachingofteammembers. WhatYouWillBringtoScorpio: Bachelor’sdegreeinAccounting,Finance,Business,orarelatedfield. 10+yearsofaccountingexperience,withatleast3yearsinconstruction Experienceworkingwithrevenuesof$200millionormore. Strongunderstandingofconstructionjobcosting,WIPreporting,percentage-of-completionaccounting,andlaborrates,includinglaborburdensandcostallocations. ProficiencywithSageIntacctorsimilarconstructionaccountingsoftware.
