Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)

Mars Wrigley- Maintenance Technician - Elizabethtown, PAThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in a fast paced, high production environment. Key responsibilities may include troubleshooting and servicing advanced pneumatic systems, basic hydraulic systems, AC/DC electrical systems, welding, fabrication, automation (PLC and instrumentation), machining, and mechanical systems across all process and packing equipment.Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent2+ years' work experience related to industrial maintenanceExperience in Welding, Advanced Machinist Skills and/or fabricationPossess a fundamental understanding of Electrical systems and troubleshooting, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics and/or Mechanical DrawingsWillingness to develop required technical skillsProficient with computers software's included MS OfficePreferred Qualifications:Associate degree in a technical discipline, preferably in Industrial Maintenance/TechnologyTechnical/Trade Certification in: Welding, Advanced Machinist Skills, fabrication and blueprint interpretationPossess an advanced understanding of AC/DC Electrical (up to 480VAC 3 Phase), Hydraulic and Pneumatic Schematics and Mechanical Drawings in order to solve problemsPossess PLC/Instrumentation troubleshooting skillsPhysical Requirements:Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs.)Frequent handling/gripping/bending/twisting/stooping.Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment.Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).Able to work in confined spacesAbility to read, write and understand EnglishKey Responsibilities:Troubleshooting, repairing and overhauling equipment within close tolerances.Advanced Pneumatic, Basic Hydraulic, AC/DC Electrical Systems, Automation (PLC and Instrumentation), Automation, Machining, and Mechanical Systems on all Process and Packaging Equipment (willing to train)Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment.Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM's) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) on Process & Packaging EquipmentSupport Operations in equipment setup, changeover and training of operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activitiesAccurately document Work Orders (WO) using Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance)Active Engagement in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Theory and Concepts through participation in Pillar Teams, training fellow Technicians/Operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities to include conducting Breakdown Analysis (BDA's)Understand and adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) Procedures, Confined Space Procedures and all other Plant Safety/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements related to supporting machinery uptimePerform any adhoc requests as assignedTotal Rewards:Starting Pay: Based on experience starting at $36.52/hour+Annual Bonus and Merit IncreasesBenefits Starting Day One:Medical, Vision, and DentalUp to 6% 401(k) matchVacation timeTuition reimbursementShort/Long-Term Disability18 weeks parental leaveRelocation will not be considered
