The US Navy is seeking Oceanography Officers, also known as METOC, to be the Navy's geophysical experts. Officers will support fleet operations by providing environmental data, ensuring navigation safety, and leading diverse teams. The role offers a career interwoven with sea and shore assignments, including leadership positions on vessels. Candidates must have a technical degree, excel in calculus and physics, and qualify for Top-Secret security clearance.
