Summary Christ Lutheran Early Childhood Center is a non-profit childcare center, owned and operated as a mission of Christ Lutheran Church. We provide the highest quality education to children in their pre-school years through genuine caring, and instruction in a loving Christian environment. CLECC aims to provide a comfortable, nurturing environment with age-appropriate curricula that is enjoyable for its children. The mission of CLECC is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with all children, their families, and the community by providing exceptional early childhood education in a Christian environment. Duties Teachers at Christ Lutheran Early Childhood Center manage the day-to-day activities in their classroom, by working with the director and head teacher to develop a weekly curriculum, that includes a diverse class structure. We are looking for teachers who understand children?s needs and to help them develop social and life skills in a fun and exciting environment that will stimulate their curiosity and encourage them to want to learn. Hands on activities, in music, arts, story time, and creative play, are all part of our daily routine, as well as lots of fresh air time outside! Requirements We want teachers who care about children, who love teaching, and want to come to work everyday with a positive energy. Our teachers work with our director and head teacher create a curriculum that inspires children to want to learn, engages them in activities, and sparks their interests in new ideas. We want teachers that understand children and their social and emotional development. Our teachers need good communication skills with their children and their families, as well as their co-workers, to create a familial environment where we all excel. Pre-approved with OEC and background check CPR and FA certification, or willing to obtain ASAP Nice To Haves Previous experience in a day setting are preferential, but all are welcome to apply. We want to mentor our teachers as much as our students. Teachers need to have, or desire to develop, the skills to communicate with the parents or guardians regularly throughout the day. Teachers need to be role models, keep the classrooms clean and safe, always be kind, lead by example. Teachers need to follow all CLECC and state and health department regulations, as well as required trainings throughout the year.
