The Level 1 Mechanic plays a crucial support role within the maintenance team by assisting senior mechanics and focusing on general maintenance and repair projects. Responsibilities
- Perform basic repairs and parts replacement on equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns
- Run diagnostics to identify mechanical issues
- Handle and maintain standard mechanic tools
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Support senior mechanics in various repair projects
- Maintain equipment in optimal working condition
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in automotive repair
- High school diploma or equivalent
- PLC training
- Basic electrical knowledge (helpful but not required)
