The Level 1 Mechanic plays a crucial support role within the maintenance team by assisting senior mechanics and focusing on general maintenance and repair projects. This position involves using standard mechanic tools to perform basic repairs, preventive maintenance, and diagnostics, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
- Perform basic repairs and parts replacement on equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns
- Run diagnostics to identify mechanical issues
- Handle and maintain standard mechanic tools
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Support senior mechanics in various repair projects
- Maintain equipment in optimal working condition
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in automotive repair
- High school diploma or equivalent
- PLC training
- Basic electrical knowledge (helpful but not required)
