Job Title Team Lead Reporting Reports to: Club Manager Job Summary Responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in training and developing staff. Assist in member service oversight to ensure staff deliver positive customer experience. Handle front‑desk tasks: answering phone calls, taking information calls, facilitating member check‑ins, sign‑ups, cancellations, and updating member accounts. Provide gym tours and assistance to potential members. Resolve member service issues and questions. Support team member management and provide backup to Club Manager as needed. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Maintain a positive club image through cleanliness, appearance, and customer interactions. Manage marketing efforts, ensuring staff are informed and trained on current promotions. Order supplies, keep inventory, and track reports. Communicate and interact with customers and teammates to exceed expectations. Listen actively, empathize, and collaborate to resolve problems. Identify problems, analyze information, and plan solutions, seeking assistance when required. Demonstrate diplomacy and appropriate behavior in all interactions. Maintain timely communication with team members and supervisors to increase productivity and prevent misunderstandings. Physical Demands Standing and walking at least 75% of shift. Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time.
