Product Development Manager

Reference: PR/593002_1783438862DSJ Global is currently partnered with a fast-growing personal care product manufacturer who is seeking a high-ownership Product Development leader who thrives on execution and bringing products from concept to launch. This role operates in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent product launches, variations, and workstreams. You will take ownership of product development execution, ensuring projects move forward efficiently and reach completion. This role requires balancing autonomy with collaboration and stepping in to handle all aspects of bringing a product to market.Responsibilities:Own and execute product development projects from concept through launchBuild and manage timelines across multiple workstreamsCoordinate with manufacturers, labs, and external partnersEnsure deliverables are completed on timeDrive projects through final stages to launch readinessManage ongoing product updates (line extensions, variations, packaging updates)Maintain product accuracy, compliance, and documentationSupport cost-saving initiatives and alternative sourcingExecute product updates efficiently and accuratelySupport retail-specific requirementsCoordinate clinical, consumer, and internal testing programsMaintain product technical documentation and recordsConduct light lab work as needed (basic testing, sampling support)Identify and resolve issues proactivelyNavigate ambiguity and drive projects forward independentlyOwn goals, deadlines, and execution plansSolve problems without predefined processesQualificationsBS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.4-8+ years of experience in product development, technical project management, or similar roles (CPG, personal care, or related industries preferred).Strong project management and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple complex projects simultaneouslyHigh level of ownership and accountabilityComfortable working with external partners and manufacturers
