In this role, you’ll take the lead on complex client engagements, focusing on high‑impact commercial strategy work for biopharma and rare disease innovators. What You’ll Do Structure and lead project plans across commercial strategy engagements (e.g., brand planning, opportunity assessments, launch readiness) Design and manage research and analysis including primary research (HCP, patient, payer, internal stakeholders) and secondary research, as well as project milestones, workshops, etc. Lead day‑to‑day client interactions, ensuring alignment, transparency, and trust throughout the engagement Guide and design the development of deliverables that clearly communicate insights and provide actionable recommendations to senior client stakeholders Work interactively with your project teams to share insights, incorporate feedback, and evolve analysis and deliverables Supervise consultants and analysts in research (primary, secondary, vendor management) and in the development of well‑designed PowerPoint slides that tell a clear and compelling story Create a collaborative environment that fosters continuous feedback, knowledge sharing, and development for junior team members Partner with Principals and Directors to support proposal development, pitch preparation, and project scoping Qualifications 5+ years of experience at a management or life sciences consulting firm, with a strong focus on commercial strategy for biopharma clients Proven success managing end‑to‑end consulting engagements, including team leadership and client relationship management Experience working in rare disease or specialty therapeutics is highly valued MBA, PhD, or BS in business, life sciences, or a related field Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling, executive‑ready deliverables Experience mentoring and developing junior team members Ability to work in‑person at our NYC office at least 3 days per week Availability to start within 2–4 weeks of accepting an offer The base salary range for this role is $170,000–$220,000.
