Role Description The CDL A Truck Driver role is a full-time, on-site position based out of Kannapolis, NC. In this role, the driver is responsible for safely operating a Class A commercial vehicle to transport freight between designated locations, following all DOT regulations and company policies. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and unloading cargo, maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation, and communicating with dispatch regarding routes, schedules, and any issues on the road. The driver is expected to adhere to safety guidelines, maintain the vehicle in clean and operable condition, and provide professional customer service at delivery and pickup points. Occasional overtime, varying routes, and adherence to time-sensitive schedules may be required.
Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and strong knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in operating tractor-trailers or similar commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections, basic troubleshooting, and proper cargo securement.
• Strong time management, route planning, and documentation skills for logs, manifests, and delivery records.
• Reliable communication and customer service skills when interacting with dispatch, clients, and team members.
• Ability to work full time on-site in Kannapolis, NC, including flexible hours and varying weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous experience in regional or local freight a plus.
