Production Operator

Location: Newton, NH Shift: First Shift Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview A privately owned glass manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on, safety-conscious Production Operator to support its production team. This role involves working across multiple production stations, including glass cutting, polishing, and fabrication, while operating equipment and maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has manufacturing or production experience, is comfortable working with automated machinery, and can adapt to different tasks in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Assist at various production stations as needed, including glass cutting, polishing, and fabrication. Operate and monitor production equipment and automated machinery. Maintain consistent production flow while meeting quality and safety standards. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed. Apply specialized protective coatings to glass products. Inspect products to ensure quality and compliance with production specifications. Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Perform additional production duties as assigned. Qualifications And Requirements Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or a similar hands-on environment. Strong technical skills and comfort working with machinery, technology, and automated systems. Ability to safely lift 75+ lbs. Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, balancing, and handling materials. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Understanding of workplace safety procedures and manufacturing standards. Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within a team. CNC machine operation experience is preferred but not required. Previous glass manufacturing, cutting, polishing, fabrication, or coating experience is a plus.
