What You’ll HandleAs a Marriott Bistro Cook/Server, you help keep the Bistro running smoothly by delivering friendly service and consistent food quality for guests. You’ll take orders, prepare menu items and beverages, run the register, and provide attentive support from start to finish. You’ll also help maintain accurate cash handling, including balancing the cash drawer, and follow food safety practices such as proper labeling and dating.Required skills/qualifications: - Prior experience in a fast-paced food service or hospitality setting- Comfortable with cashiering and basic math for cash reconciliation- Strong customer service and clear communication- Ability to stay organized, move quickly, and work on your feet- Availability for early mornings (5:30am) and evening shifts (4pm–11pm)If you’re ready for a full-time onsite role in Macon, GA, apply today.A Typical ShiftYou’ll clock in and get set for service—checking the Bistro area, stocking what’s needed, and prepping items so the line stays moving. During peak times, you’ll greet guests, keep the dining area tidy, clear and reset tables, and stay attentive to pacing. Between rushes, you’ll wash and put away dishes, wipe down surfaces, and keep the kitchen clean and organized. When deliveries arrive, you’ll help put away truck orders and rotate product, making sure items are dated correctly. At close, you’ll wrap up with cleanup and a final check so the next shift starts strong.
