Key Qualifications: Active RN license in Minnesota Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential is highly desirable Experience working in a school setting, particularly at the elementary or middle school level Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families Compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated to student wellness Primary Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid and emergency response Conduct health assessments and manage chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, or allergies Maintain accurate health records and fulfill documentation requirements Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students as needed Educate students and staff on health topics, illness prevention, and hygiene Liaise with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care Support the overall well-being of the school community through screenings, health promotion, and preventative measures This contract position offers the opportunity to impact students' daily lives while enjoying professional collaboration within a supportive educational setting.
