Job Summary
The Labor and Delivery Department is seeking a Registered Nurse for a position in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing and possess current licensure and certifications. This role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, ensuring safety, comfort, and positive patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid PA Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 clearances; 2 years of experience in labor and delivery or related specialty; Location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional Information: The role involves performing nursing duties in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors. Responsibilities include participating in quality improvement efforts, utilizing research and evidence-based practices, applying relationship-based care principles, and fostering patient and team partnerships. The nurse will provide education to patients and families, develop collaborative relationships, and respond proactively to safety hazards and workplace needs.
