Senior Project Engineer

PCI is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for its Albany 576 operations based in Malta, NY. This individual will provide project management support for commercial projects across the following scopes: specialty walls and ceilings, and clean rooms. This role will be based in Albany, but a willingness to travel or be relocated as needed for specific project needs is required.This individual will also be responsible for the following duties:Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenancePrepare RFI’s and submittalsQuantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change ordersCreate and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremenCreate and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC programSalary range: $95,000-115,000 annual salary plus a non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.Basic RequirementsA minimum of 4-7 years’ experience in construction management is required.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline, or comparable work experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught.Customer service skills, such as working with customers and building strong relationships.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to multitask.Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative.Works well under pressure and deadlines.Preferred RequirementsExperience with commercial interior construction and/or clean-room scopes is preferredOSHA CertificationWilling to travel/relocate based on project needsJobFamilyProject ManagementJobFunctionProject ManagementPayTypeSalary
