Aquarium & Aviary Service Representative

Job Summary This entry‑level position primarily services aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The role requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly, and involves heavy lifting, bending, and other physical demands. It is a part‑time job with flexible scheduling during business hours (8 am–7 pm). Responsibilities Well organized and possess excellent time‑management skills Maintain a professional appearance and communicate effectively with customers Effectively communicate company products and services Prioritize and handle multiple tasks Exceed goals and demonstrate inner drive Respond to calls, emails, and faxes to address customer needs Create an efficient work schedule Manage the service cycle for the customer base Qualifications Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred Positive attitude and willingness to learn Adapt priorities to match business needs Strong work ethic, punctuality, and good attendance Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English Mechanical aptitude preferred Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities Must be able to travel within service area radius Heavy lifting and maneuvering required High school education preferred Driver’s license required Hours & Pay Part‑time. Expected hours: 2 hours per month servicing an aquarium (during business hours) and 20‑30 hours every 3 months servicing aviaries. Pay starts at $25.00 per hour. Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving; hourly wage is not paid during travel. Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving. Masks and goggles may be required due to long‑term care settings.
