Occupational Therapist - Outpatient/Acute Care/Long Term Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00). Variable schedule with no weekend requirements.

Location

Facility is located in Alaska. Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles away from the facility.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide care in an outpatient, acute care, and long-term care settings. As a critical access hospital, our team plays a vital role in offering comprehensive rehabilitation services to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
• Document patient progress and communicate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Advise patients and families on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification.
• NBCOT certification.
• Active Alaska state license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
