A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Direct, coordinate and facilitate the daily activities of direct reports to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost requirements, and (ii) Partner with EHS to ensure that environmental compliance activities and requirements are met.Requires 10+ years in manufacturing operations, with 5+ years supervisory experience and a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering area or relevant subject areaEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee operations across multiple facilities to ensure consistent safety, quality, productivity, and compliance with company standards; oversee the warehouse and material delivery and handling functionsDirect, coordinate, and facilitate the activities of direct reports to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost requirementsPartner with EHS to ensure that environmental compliance activities and requirements are metEnsure standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance are maintained and that cost-effective technology is used to maximize productionDevelop departmental budget, monitor plant spending, and report on operating costs within functional areasCollaborate with cross-functional teams such as: Inventory control, Sourcing, Purchasing, Distribution Centers, and Engineering, in issues related to planning, scheduling, labor standards, production processes, and material/inventory controlDirect and implement decisions regarding manufacturing strategy, plant layout, staffing requirements, and external network relationsLead the plant leadership team in developing the plant’s strategic direction, establishing priorities and allocating resourcesLead and oversee the management for daily improvement (MDI) process.Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize operations, enhance business performance, and support long-term organizational growth.Oversee the Make-to-Order (MTO) manufacturing related function across networkComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Multi-Fab’s reputation by keeping information confidential.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.Supervision ExercisedMotivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team membersDrive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policiesMaintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communicationsLead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CG mission, vision and values.Minimum RequirementsEducation/Certifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering area or relevant subject areaExperience:10+ years in manufacturing operations, with 5+ years of supervisory experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Advanced knowledge of Lean Six SigmaBasic knowledge of ERPAdvanced knowledge of Quality management systemsAbility to read and interpret financial statementsStrong leadership skillsProblem solving and negotiation skillsPreferred QualificationsEducation/Certifications:MBAKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of SAP, SytelineThe pay range for this position is $158,000.00 - $254,600.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
