Project Coordinator, Family Advancement

The Project Coordinator, Family Advancement position exists to assist with projects for the Communications team of Family Advancement, who develop print and digital donor engagement pieces, as well as donor events, to assist donor representatives in raising funds for Focus on the Family. Coordinates and assists with projects, event planning, donor mailings, data analysis and problem-solving, research, and product purchases. Coordinates aspects of preparation and follow-up for FA Donor Events Collaborates with the Data Services team to verify constituent data for communication pieces and events Maintains quality of constituent data in the Salesforce database Tracks event and mailing projects through Aprimo project management software Provides administrative support to the Executive Director of Family Advancement Places orders for components of donor communication pieces Stays current with Focus programs and communication best practices to assess if donor communication pieces are representing the ministry accurately Other Duties/Responsibilities: Performs all other duties as assigned JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Character/Spiritual: Exemplifies Ephesians 5:1-2, “Therefore be imitators of God as dear children and walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us...” Pursues the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ; maintains a courteous, Christ‑like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Focus; adheres to the Standard of Moral Conduct and Statement of Faith ; upholds Focus on the Family's ministry in prayer Prays personally for Focus on the Family’s staff and constituents and may occasionally lead in a public prayer Must be a self‑starter and able to multi‑task; flexible with time management; be able to change tasks as needed Emotionally resilient and capable of handling pressure with an appropriately cheerful attitude Knowledge/Experience: 1-3 years of directly related experience Proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Experience using Salesforce and project management software (Aprimo) preferred Skills, Abilities, and Special Talents/Gifts: Excellent organizational and time management skills Detailed‑oriented Strong analytical skills to extract, verify, and draw conclusions from data Excellent listening skills and exhibit the ability to understand what others are communicating Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to build strong working relationships across multiple departments Innovative, proactive, and creative problem solver Excellent conversational, human relations, and telephone skills Ability to deal in fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities; flexible Able to meet high‑capacity workload and deadlines Ability to work with limited supervision Pay Range : $19.30 to $22.76 per hour Focus on the Family puts a high value on our team members and offers a unique benefit package.
