Senior Scientist - Cardiometabolic Disorders

This Senior Scientist role focuses on identifying therapeutic targets and conducting preclinical research in cardiometabolic disease, particularly osteoporosis and metabolic disorders. The position involves designing and executing in vitro and in vivo studies, analyzing data, and communicating findings while eventually leading a research team. Candidates require a doctorate in a life science field or a master's degree with three years of relevant experience in bone metabolism.

Responsibilities

• Identify and propose therapeutic targets for bone and cardiometabolic disease treatment
• Design and conduct in vitro and in vivo preclinical experiments at bench or vivarium
• Analyze experimental data and interpret results with proper statistical rigor
• Lead and manage team of scientists in drug discovery research programs
• Communicate scientific findings through presentations and electronic documentation

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with relevant postdoctoral experience
• Master's degree plus 3 years bone metabolism and disease experience
• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years bone metabolism and disease experience
• Proficiency in in vivo and in vitro pharmacology study design and execution
• Technical expertise in molecular biology techniques including immunoblotting and RT-qPCR
• Strong written and oral communication skills for scientific presentations
• Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams in drug discovery
