Job Duties

• Custom Tailored Treatment Approaches: Evaluate patient needs and craft individualized therapy plans that empower them to reach their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living capabilities.
• Collaborative Care: Work intimately with physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their family members on therapeutic techniques that promote sustained progress at home.
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the path to success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Ongoing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification required
