DESCRIPTION

The DIGITAL SERVICE SPECIALIST will take phone calls, document, and process information for a financial services company. The position requires previous customer service experience and basic computer knowledge. You will assist customers with technology and account issues. This is a contract role (with contract to hire option based on performance) that will be onsite 100%. The option to move hybrid after 6-months is based on performance.  The position is open due to an increase in business and additional support needed for the company.

DUTIES

• Assist external customers and financial professionals with password resets, account issues, and website troubleshooting
• Assist with emails, creating log ins, and general technology troubleshooting.
• Speak with internal and external customers to assist with basic computer/account tasks.
• Operate Salesforce platform on a daily basis. 
• Take 15-20 calls per day and increase to 30-40 calls a day by 6 months.
• Verify client information to assure they are speaking with the account owner.
• Deescalate frustrated customers and be patient with end-users.
• Help with paperwork and digital processing.
• Be comfortable with repetitive tasks .

ADDITIONAL

• Nice to have retail, service industry, restaurant experience - 1+ years
• Basic computer knowledge and experience- must be tech savvy for this role to assist others!

TRAINING

• Learn Salesforce CRM and feel comfortable speaking with customers and assisting appropriately.
• Will start on the phones around weeks 3-6 taking around 15-20 calls per day regarding password resets.
• Need to take around 30-40 calls a day by 6 months.
• This role will go through training prior to jumping on the phones to assure you are comfortable.
• Must understand the importance of following the security procedures with customers and properly vetting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
