As a Security Officer Security Clearance Front Desk in North Charleston, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a professional environment. Pay Rate: $24.72 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor lobby activity, incoming communications, and security-related systems, escalating unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional reception environment by directing guests, contractors, and deliveries while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
