About the Position

Job Title: ER RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year preferred License: State or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Travel experience required - Experience with charting system Epic Description: We have 26 beds in the Emergency Room. We are a level II trauma center. We are a comprehensive stroke center. We are accredited in STEMI care. We accept first-time travelers. The patient ratio during nights is 5:1. The unit provides care for patients of all age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The facility has a daily census of approximately 120 patients. There are about 90 patient visits per day. The unit features a combination of mid shifts and weekend coverage. Key skills include arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, trauma management, and procedural sedation monitoring. The team provides interdisciplinary support, including respiratory services and social services. Candidates must meet compliance requirements during onboarding. All required certifications must be in hand at the time of submission. Availability for weekends is necessary.
