Position Overview

This position requires a candidate with strong acute care experience to work within a dynamic healthcare environment. The selected individual will be responsible for discharge planning and care coordination across multiple hospital campuses.

Key Details

• Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 AM - 04:00 PM)
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Weekend Requirements: Yes, every other weekend
• Floating: Required to float between hospital units

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience is required.
• Previous Travel Experience: Candidates should have prior travel experience in healthcare settings.
• Epic Experience: Proficiency in the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system is required; AIDA EMR experience is preferred.
• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a valid Washington state nursing license are mandatory.
• Special Skills: Experience in discharge planning and care coordination is required. Diverse case management experience in various settings such as Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg), Length of Stay (LLOS), and Emergency Department (ED) is strongly preferred.

Facility Information

• Type of Facility: Level II Trauma Center
• Total Staffed Beds: 571 beds across two campuses
• Scrub Color: Any color is acceptable except reddish-orange.

Additional Information

Travelers will be expected to work in different areas of the hospital, including both the Colby and Pacific campuses, which are located less than two miles from each other. This position will involve collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
