Position Overview The Sr. Manager, Indirect Procurement is a newly created role focused on Popeyes brand strategy and RBI’s Global Indirect Procurement function. This role owns the end‑to‑end indirect sourcing strategy for Popeyes, managing approximately $300M in annual New Restaurant Opening (NRO) and indirect spend across key categories—Kitchen Equipment & Smallwares, FF&E, Signage, and General Contractor services. Responsibilities Manage the Popeyes NRO indirect spend pipeline ($300M annually), identifying sourcing waves and prioritizing by savings opportunity. Lead strategic sourcing processes: RFP/RFQ from market analysis through award, including supplier evaluation, commercial negotiation, and contract execution to ensure supply, control pricing, and mitigate risk. Perform higher‑order procurement activities such as industry and market analysis, total cost of ownership (TCO) and should‑cost analysis, demand management, supplier relationship management (SRM), and risk mitigation. Support RBI Global Indirect Procurement processes, tools, and standards, ensuring data integrity in procurement systems. Generate and deliver measurable cost savings. Implement comprehensive Supplier Relationship Management programs. Develop collaborative relationships with all RBI Brand partners and cross‑functional Popeyes counterparts in Supply Chain, Operations, NPI, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and other functions. Leverage relationships with category business leaders to understand Popeyes’s current and future business needs. Maintain awareness of new laws and policies impacting sourcing and supply contracts to ensure compliance. Resolve contract disputes and supplier issues in a timely manner. Travel occasionally as business needs dictate. Qualifications BS or BA in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field. 5‑7+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement, Supply Chain, or Operations. Strong analytical skills, including research, data analysis, and financial modeling to evaluate deals and determine viability. Experience with restaurant NRO programs, kitchen equipment, FF&E, or construction‑related indirect categories. Preferred background in QSR, food processing, retail, or CPG. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Excellent communication, problem‑solving, time‑management, and interpersonal skills. Team player with leadership capabilities.
