Corporate In-House Paralegal

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented legal professional to join our team and provide support across a variety of business, operational, and compliance initiatives. This individual will work closely with company leadership, HR, and internal stakeholders to help manage contracts, mitigate risk, and support day-to-day legal needs.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, managing multiple priorities, and partnering with business teams to provide practical legal solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Contracts & Business Support

• Review, prepare, and assist with negotiation of various business agreements, including service agreements, vendor contracts, confidentiality agreements, and other commercial documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure agreements align with business objectives and company standards.
• Maintain and update contract templates, documentation, and internal resources.
• Track agreements, approvals, renewals, and other important legal documentation.

Compliance & Employee Support

• Assist leadership and HR with employment-related documentation, policies, and compliance initiatives.
• Support the creation and maintenance of internal procedures, guidelines, and operational documentation.
• Help identify potential risks and recommend solutions to support compliance and best practices.

Corporate & Operational Assistance

• Assist with corporate records, internal controls, and administrative legal processes.
• Partner with internal teams to address business needs and improve workflows.
• Conduct research and provide support on various legal and operational matters as needed.
• Coordinate with outside counsel when specialized legal support is required.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification, legal studies background, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2–6 years of experience in a corporate, transactional, or law firm environment.
• Experience reviewing and drafting contracts strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of employment-related matters, compliance, and business operations.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
