MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• 2+ years of MRI technologist experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital
• Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Hands-on experience with Siemens 1.5T or 3T MRI systems, including Aera, Sola, Skyra, or Vida
• Experience with Philips MRI equipment preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures safely and accurately in accordance with departmental protocols and hospital standards
• Prepare patients for imaging, explain procedures, and ensure a positive patient experience
• Operate MRI equipment and maintain high standards of image quality, patient safety, and workflow efficiency
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other care team members to support timely diagnosis and treatment
• Follow all MRI safety guidelines, screening procedures, and quality assurance practices
• Maintain clear documentation and contribute to smooth daily department operations
