About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Hagerstown, Maryland, 21742!

Job Opportunity – Critical Care / ICU Registered Nurse – Maryland

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, every other weekend requirement, may float to Intermediate Care (IMC) as needed. 24-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

  • Critical care unit specializing in trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patients with complex, high-acuity diagnoses
  • 24-bed unit with 18 average daily census and interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and more
  • Epic charting system required; CRRT, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and intraventricular drains (EVDs) utilized
  • Every other weekend commitment; one pre-approved time-off request permitted
  • Advanced critical care skills strongly preferred including ventilator management, arterial line management, cardiac drip titration, and stroke protocols
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (pending license accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required; 3 years preferred
  • Previous travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care settings
  • Charge experience and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
  • Willingness to float within scope to IMC as needed
