CNC Operator - Entry Level, Will Train - $20-$26/hr

Four-day work week. Weekends off, every week.

Small specialty woodworking equipment manufacturer seeks a first shift CNC Operator at our facility in Durant, IA.

Pay: $20-$26/hr, depending on experience Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 3:00pm (32 hours/week, paid morning break and lunch) Benefits: 6 paid holidays per year, earned Paid Time Off

The CNC Operator will load programs, set up, and operate various machines to produce a variety of parts using established CNC programs. No programming experience required, we will train the right candidate.

Our primary equipment includes: FADAL VMC, Onsrud CNC router, and Hendrick automatic table saw

Education: High School/GED diploma required. Trade certification a plus, but not required.

Experience: None required. We are willing to train motivated candidates. Prior machining, manufacturing, or mechanical experience is helpful but not necessary.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts
• Learn to read blueprints and check parts for conformance
• Learn to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height stands)
• Perform self-inspection of parts to ensure they meet specs
• Keep accurate production and quality records
• Help maintain machines and equipment, and report issues for repair
• Follow written work instructions and communicate well with teammates

Good to Know

This is a hands-on manufacturing role. You'll be on your feet, using hand tools, and working near moving machinery. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs is required.
